Navigation and Access
Versafy’s navigation is organized around the customer work you can perform: configure shared resources under General, build channel experiences under Phone and Email & Messaging, review connected-store activity under Shopify, and access operational tools under Misc. The sidebar adapts to your workspace, subscription, connections, and permissions, so two teammates may see different pages or actions.
Use the left sidebar
Use the left sidebar to move between setup, daily operations, and reporting. Select a section heading to expand or collapse it:
- General contains customer billing, your profile, team management, integrations, the Knowledge Base, and notification channels when available.
- Phone contains phone numbers, Voice Agents, Campaigns, and Call Logs & Recordings.
- Email & Messaging contains Email Agents and Messaging Agents.
- Shopify appears after a store is connected and contains commerce reporting and catalog pages.
- Misc contains specialist tools such as API Keys and AI Logs when you have access.
Selecting a page updates the address in your browser. You can bookmark or share that page link, but the recipient must have access to the same workspace and feature.
Recognize nested navigation
Many pages have their own tabs. For example, an agent editor may include General, Channels or Inbox, Knowledge, CRM, Delivery, and Danger. Finish and save the General setup first; settings that depend on a saved agent may be unavailable while it is being created.
Use the page’s back arrow or Back action to return to the list. Avoid using an old bookmarked editor link after an agent has been deleted.
Profile controls
The top of the sidebar shows your signed-in identity. Use:
- the workspace logo or name to return to the home page;
- the theme control to switch appearance;
- your profile page to update personal details, password, and timezone;
- the logout control to end the current session.
Why a page may be missing or locked
Hidden or locked pages protect workflows your workspace has not enabled or that your role should not change; they do not necessarily indicate a product error.
A page or control may be unavailable because:
- your role does not include the required permission;
- the feature is not included in the current plan or trial;
- a required integration has not been connected or enabled;
- your workspace is temporarily inactive;
- the feature has not yet loaded its access status.
If the page is hidden, ask a workspace administrator to confirm your permissions. If it shows a plan lock, open General → Billing or ask the person who manages your subscription. If a page requires a connection, open General → Integrations.
Work safely in the correct workspace
If you can switch between workspaces, always confirm the selected workspace before adding users, connecting accounts, changing agents, or viewing customer data. Connections, agents, knowledge, reports, and API keys belong to the selected workspace.
Refresh stale information
When a recently changed connection or permission is not reflected:
- Save any unfinished form.
- Refresh the page once.
- Confirm the selected workspace.
- Reopen the relevant sidebar section and page.
- If the issue remains, capture the page name, visible message, and approximate time for your support contact.
