Phone Overview
The Phone section lets you build a complete customer phone service: answer with a Voice Agent, route important calls to people, respect business hours, capture voicemail, run planned outbound campaigns, and review every outcome in one place.
Navigation: Open Phone in the left sidebar.
Recommended setup order
- Create and test a Voice Agent if calls will use one.
- Open Phone Numbers and confirm your phone connection and available numbers. For the full Versafy calling experience, follow Connect a Twilio Account and Phone Number. To keep provider-managed SIP routing instead, follow the External SIP guide for Twilio or Zadarma.
- Create operator groups if calls may ring staff members.
- Create an Inbound Call Flow.
- Validate and activate the flow.
- Assign an eligible phone number to the flow.
- Place a test call and review Call Logs & Recordings.
Phone Numbers page tabs
Each tab supports a different part of the caller journey, from choosing the number customers dial to reviewing a missed-call voicemail. The page can include:
- Overview — quick actions, recent activity, active inbound numbers, and flows.
- Numbers — number capabilities, status, assignments, and actions.
- Inbound Call Flows — routing workflows and activation state.
- Operator Groups — staff phone groups and ringing strategy.
- Voicemails — recorded messages and transcripts when available.
Your exact tabs and actions depend on permissions and the phone connection configured for your workspace.
