Campaigns

Campaigns let a tested Voice Agent contact an approved list of people for a consistent purpose, such as appointment reminders, lead qualification, customer check-ins, or service updates. You can start immediately or schedule the outreach, then review progress and each call outcome.

Navigation: Open Phone → Campaigns.

Campaigns may be hidden or locked if they are not available on your current plan or you do not have management permission.

Before creating a campaign

Start with one clear, expected reason for calling. Campaigns are best for repeatable outreach where recipients have the appropriate consent and the agent can complete or escalate the intended task. Prepare:

  • a tested active Voice Agent;
  • an eligible outbound caller number;
  • recipient consent appropriate to your region and purpose;
  • phone numbers in international format;
  • a CSV with a phone_number column if uploading recipients;
  • optional dynamic values needed by the agent’s instructions.

Create a campaign

  1. Select Create campaign.
  2. Enter a recognizable campaign name.
  3. Select the Voice Agent.
  4. Select the Call from number.
  5. Add recipients manually or upload the CSV.
  6. Review parsed phone numbers and dynamic variables.
  7. Save the campaign.

Fix rejected or duplicate rows before starting. Keep the original recipient source outside Versafy for consent and audit purposes.

Start now or schedule

Open the saved campaign and choose the available immediate or scheduled start action. For a scheduled campaign, choose the intended date and time carefully and confirm the relevant timezone.

Campaign details show submission and schedule information. Once submitted, some setup fields may no longer be editable.

Monitor progress

Monitoring shows whether the outreach is reaching people and where follow-up is needed. The campaign page shows overall status and recipient counts. Use:

  • Recipients to inspect each number’s status and dynamic variables;
  • Call logs to review attempts, duration, transcript, recording, and outcome when available.

Recipients without a call log are listed separately so you can distinguish queued or skipped entries from completed attempts.

Stop or restart safely

Use Stop campaign for a scheduled, submitted, or in-progress campaign. Allow in-progress calls to settle before interpreting final counts. A cancelled campaign can show Restart campaign; review recipient results first so you understand which numbers were already attempted.

Use the recipient download when you need a CSV record of individual outcomes and dynamic variables.

Troubleshoot a campaign

No Voice Agent or caller number is available

Confirm that the agent is active and the phone number is eligible for outbound use. Review plan limits and permissions.

CSV import fails

Use a simple CSV with a phone_number header. Keep one recipient per row and normalize numbers to international format.

A recipient has no call log

Check the recipient status, campaign start state, and whether the number was accepted. The campaign may still be queued, paused, or processing.

Results differ from the recipient total

Allow active work to finish, then compare the Recipients and Call logs tabs. Do not assume every accepted row produced a connected call.
